South Don
and Flingel Railway
|

|
Our garden railway began early in 1996 and has changed many
times during construction. We work to a scale of 1:20.3 (although
some feature deviate from this slightly) on track 45mm gauge to
represent narrow gauge railways running on 3 foot gauge. There is
no specific prototype and you will often see a wide variety of stock on
the railway. Locomotives are live steam or battery powered, mainly
under radio control.
The photograph on the right captures a busy day
at South Don station with a family about to board the directors coach.
